Here are a few style tips to give you a head start, so you look and feel your best this year.
Style tips for a slender you:
- Colour: colour continuity is key to lengthening your silhouette. Wear the same colour top, bottoms, (tights) and shoes. Inject colour with your jacket, scarf or jewellery
- Fabric: opt for more fluid fabrics such as silk or chiffon, steer clear of lycra or anything that clings to the body
- Dress: wear more dresses and skirts: they are more forgiving and flattering. They also hide a multitude of sins – rather than trousers, which show everything!
- Accessories: lay aside all belts (thin or wide) till you have achieved your desired circumference 😉 Belts draw attention to your midriff and emphasis it
- Shoes: a pair a fabulous heels elongate your body so you appear slimmer
