I bet you’re wondering: “why do you need a personal shopper?”.

Well, I come bearing good news on the key benefits of shopping with a personal stylist:

  • Keep within budget – we will help you avoid costly mistakes by selecting quality pieces that look great on you, from (high end or high street) brands that are suitable for your budget and lifestyle.
  • Rejuvenate your wardrobe – our selections will revitalize your wardrobe with unique pieces that you’ll love but may not have chosen on your own. They’ll complement your existing wardrobe and suit your personality.
  • Get pampered – It’s a form of self-care, that will eliminate the stress of shopping and is ultimately a fun experience where you get pampered in your own private personal shopping suite!

3 C’s of Dressing for #WFH

With the chancellor’s budget announcement last month, it looks like most of us will be working from home until September at the earliest.

Here are 3C’s of styling to consider when dress for working from home:

Colour. Comfort. Confidence!

  • Colour! Styling always starts with Colour. I love wearing happy cheery and uplifting colours and I encourage my clients to embrace colour too. 😉 God knows we need it with over a year in this pandemic.
  • Comfort is all about the cut and texture of the fabric. Breathable natural fabrics like wool, cotton, cashmere and silk are great, especially if you perspire a lot.  I also ensure the clothes I select for myself and clients flatter the body shape. So, I feel super comfortable wearing it from morning to night and my clients do too.
  • Confidence! It starts and ends with confidence for me and I try to impart that in my clients too. It’s so important to adorn our bodies in clothes that enable us to exude confidence inside out. If it doesn’t make me feel good, I won’t wear it and certainly won’t select it for my clients either. Confidence is everything!

I’ve spent hours Online Styling clients for their working-from-home clothes and thankfully they are not joggers or leggings. 😉

So, the next time you are thinking of what to buy or wear working from home, remember the 3’Cs:

Colour. Comfort. Confidence!

You Look Sensational in Colour! Here’s why….

With over 12 years styling clients, I have found that colour is a powerful tool! It can enhance our mood, ameliorate the aesthetic of a space and stimulate our senses.

Shades of pink can induce feelings of positivity, blue is naturally calming, while yellows and oranges boost happiness and cheerfulness.

With the UK spending more time indoors, wearing colour is a great way to infuse some FUN and much needed JOY whilst working from home.

So, what does wearing your best colours do for you?

Here are the key advantages of having your Colours Analysed:

  • You’ll achieve a youthful and vibrant look – wearing your best colours near your face gives you an instant beautiful glow.
  • Mix and match colours well – getting dressed will become easier as our Colour Analysis session will equip you to combine colours effectively.
  • You’ll save money as you spend less experimenting with random purchases and invest in colours you’ll LOVE and wear.
  • Knowing your colours will reduce stress levels and improve decision making whilst shopping, making it quicker and easier.

Back to life, back to reality!

Summer is out. The Holidays are over. Children are back to school, we are back to work ….back to reality!

It’s not all doom and gloom, we have a lot to be grateful for! The Olympics and Paralympics were amazing, and I hope you all had a good break this Summer.

If you’re like me then you are desperately hanging onto the last few days of summer this week before Autumn fully kicks in.

With the recent chill that has come along, we can no longer ignore that fact that when Autumn arrives, bare legs and no sleeves just won’t be cutting it.

Here are some Style tips that enable smooth transition between Summer to Autumn, that won’t break the bank or leave you feeling cold or overheated!

  • Jackets – (not yet time for a coat) There are many key jackets in season this Autumn, whether it be your classic leather jacket or a blazer, make sure you’ve got the right outerwear to keep you warm and stylish at the same time.

  • Ankle boots– yep the rain will be here (although let’s be honest did it ever leave) and no one likes soaked shoes. Invest in a good pair of ankle boots that aren’t too high so you can stay comfy and have dry feet all day long.
  • Layering – as we are just entering Autumn the weather is still indecisive, This is why layering is perfect as it allows you to adjust what you are wearing so you are have appropriate temperature at all times, plus it looks super cool and effortless.

*Wardrobe SOS £99!!

We are offering a quick 1 hour Autumn wardrobe review with our stylist!

We will review your wardrobe, checking you have all you need in preparation for the new season and advise if you have any gaps.

Summertime in Colour

Walking through the busy streets of London I see various shapes, styles and colours. The flowers are blooming and some of us are coming out and making the best of the sunshine! However some of us are not so comfortable coming out and are letting our fashion demons get the better of us.

Instead we are huddled under the pile of clothes in our wardrobes wondering ‘what to wear’ or hitting the gym like maniacs! Summertime is all about being you and being comfortable in your own skin regardless of your shape or size. The goal is to find styles and colours that suit you, know your shape and run with it, bin that black jacket and let the summer really bring out the Potential in you.

The joy of summertime is that the dull blacks and greys of Autumn/Winter should be swapped with the pinks and peaches of Spring/Summer. Find colours that work for you and embrace them. Summertime in the one big opportunity we get all year to really run wild with different colours.

Both high street and designer stores have great collections for Spring/Summer 2009, which will leave you feeling summerlicous from your head right down to your toes. Summertime is the perfect time to detox and replenish your wardrobes especially when that black dress keeps fluttering its eyes at you.

Every woman should be a reflection of the summer; after all we know it’s never around for long…
