Body Confidence awaits you!

A warm welcome back to reality.

I hope summer was kind to you.

As someone who has had the privilege of working with over 8,000 women and helping them to feel body confident through style.

Here are some tips that will help you to feel and look your best this Autumn and beyond:

·       Know your body: Love your body.

We move homes and some may even relocate to a new country. Our body is the only house we live in permanently.

Learning your body shape is the key to loving it.

We are not taught how to care for or style our bodies.

As someone who has educated and empowered thousands of women to understand their body shapes and dress with total confidence, I encourage you to work with your body, not against it. You are made uniquely.

·       That tummy that isn’t as flat as it used to be, wear fluid fabrics like silk. Steer clear of chunky belts on your midriff.

·       Those arms that aren’t as firm as they were years ago, wear solid straps. Cap sleeves look fab on you too.

·       If you are premenopausal or menopausal, wearing breathable natural fabrics like cotton, bamboo, wool and silk makes styling yourself easier and more enjoyable.

·       If you are fuller in the bust, keep your neckline lower. V-neck or round-neck tops are flattering on your décolletage.

·       If you have wider hips, select wide-leg jeans and trousers. They balance out your proportions beautifully.

·       If you are petite (under 5’4”), wearing dresses and skirts knee length or above is superb on your proportions.

·       If you are tall (over 5’8”), experiment with colour blocking. Have fun! Play and experiment with fashion and textures.

Dress to complement your body shape, not to constrain or conceal it.

Wearing pieces that flatter your body shape elevates your confidence and gives you grace to love your body unapologetically.

·       Let go!

Releasing what is familiar can be hard and often emotional.

That leather jacket you wore at university that hasn’t fit you in years is taking up valuable space.

Your body has changed. Who you are now is what matters most.

Release the past you, let go of clothes that don’t fit or flatter your bodyshape, your lifestyle or suit personality.

So, you can fully nurture and dress the woman you are today.
